Plasma TV Stands on My Wishlist
There seems to be nothing in particular that I want for Christmas – well, at least not for myself. One of the perks of being a work from home mom is being low maintenance. Don’t get me wrong, I have not turned into slob, but I’ve stopped looking like a fashion diva either. When I was single, I’d almost always blow an entire paycheck on new wardrobe, shoes, bags, accessories and make up. Not to mention my all time favorite addiction – personal care products.
Since I’ve started working at home, (yes it’s a full time career, thank you very much) I do not feel obliged to get out of the house looking like someone from the pages of Cosmo or Vogue. The pressure is just not there anymore and I found myself veering more towards buying items for the home.
For my birthday I wanted a new armoire and asked my husband for silk bathrobes. This Christmas, I’m sure there will be tons of creams and lotions and make up from well meaning friends and relatives. Come to think of it, I do know something I would enjoy – plasma TV stands with built in drawers! It may sound funny to some, but I like having my plasma TV on top of a stand and not mounted on the wall. Having it there allows me to clean it without fuss and allows for arranging and rearranging furniture with ease.
